Why was my RFP approved for a reduced amount?

If your RFP was approved for a reduced amount, this is because tax was included in the amount requested for reimbursement.

As MIT is a tax-exempt institution, both federal and state tax is ineligible for refund except for in business meals where there is at least one non-MIT participant.
